The Work Post

Love them back.

They say never work with animals but this one must be an exception as he pulls on your heart strings through the cobbled streets before dining with his master.  The moving spot tells the tale of the companionship between a man and his dog and is part of the brand’s ‘love them back’ campaign.

Cesar ‘Journey’ was created by AMV BBDO, Directed by Andy McLeod (Rattling Stick) and edited by our very own Rich.

It’s also a Shots Contender.

POWDER ROOM

Ben has completed his first feature film, a British comedy bursting with homegrown talent - Sheridan Smith, Jamie Winstone, Kate Nash and Oona Chaplin. Directed by MJ Delaney

A ribald, rowdy expose of what goes on behind the closed doors of the ladies toilets, Powder Room is outrageously funny and the performances brilliant. Pulling back the curtain on a world that remains a mystery to men and is delightfully familiar to women. Featuring a wide array of weird and wonderful characters, from novice teenaged party girls, to seasoned ravers this is a no holds-barred look at women’s friendships, rivalries and romances in all their infinite variety

Dissecting Hannibal Lecter

Tomorrow sees the NBC U.S premiere of what promises to be an amazing sensory, televisual feast based on the original Thomas Harris characters.  Starring Mads Mikkelson, Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne the TV series promises to show us parts of one of the world’s best known fictional serial killers that we have not seen before.

Created for TV by Bryan Fuller (‘Pushing Daisies, ‘Heroes’) who also takes on the roles of writer and Executive Producer, the pilot was Directed by David Slade (‘Awake’, ‘Breaking Bad’, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’) and edited by our very own Art Jones.

Hugh Dancy plays criminal profiler ‘Will Graham’ who has an amazing ability to empathise with anyone, including serial killers. When he comes up against a killer that even he can’t decipher he calls in the help of one of the top psychiatrists in the country, Dr Hannibal Lecter. This can only make for tense, gripping viewing as the cinematically shot ‘elegant horror’ unravels.
